Alchemilla schmakovii Czkalov – a new species from Eastern Europe

Morphological study of specimens collected by author and a critical revision of the key herbarium collections revealed a new rather peculiar taxon occurring in almost every region of Middle Volga basin. Description and images of the principal morphological features of this species are provided. Comparison with related species based on morphological characteristics was performed.
