Campanula baskilensis (Campanulaceae), a new species from Turkey

A new species discovered in Turkey, Campanula baskilensis Behçet sp. nova (Campanulaceae), is described asa species confined to B7 Elazığ, Baskil in East Anatolia. It grows as chasmophyte on calcareous rocks. The diagnostic morphological characteristics from C. yildirimlii Kit Tan & Sorger and C. oligosperma Damboldt are discussed and notes are presented on its ecology and its conservation status. A distribution map of the new and related species is also provided.
