Chamaesium jiulongense sp. nov (Apiaceae), from Sichuan, China

Guo, Xian-Lin; Xie, Chuan; Bai, Juan; He, XingjinChamaesium jiulongense X. L. Guo & X. J. He, a new species of Apiaceae from Mountain Haite in Jiulong County, Sichuan Province, China, is proposed. It obviously differs from other Chamaesium species by presence of leaf-like bracts, longer bracteoles than flowers, ultimate segments with (0)1–3 lobed, style with pubescence and by the oblong fruits with obsolete calyx. Morphological and micromorphological characters of the new species are provided and illustrated.
