Cissampelopsis quinquesquamata (Asteraceae-Senecioneae) from western Myanmar and northeastern India is described and illustrated. It differs from all Cissampelopsis species except C. ansteadii in having involucres of 5 (vs 8 or 13) phyllaries and 5 (vs 8–28) florets. From C. ansteadii, it is distinguished by having glabrous or subglabrous leaves (vs densely white-arachnoid-tomentose beneath). Based on having discoid capitula, it is placed in C. sect. Cissamplelopsis.
