Derris gamblei sp. nov. (Leguminosae) from Tamil Nadu, India

Derris gamblei (Leguminosae), a new species is described and illustrated from the Pudukkottai district of Tamil Nadu state, India. It resembles the Indian species Derris thothathrii, but differs by its short inflorescence, pseudoracemes, pubescent at dorsal apex of all petals, 2 ovules and narrow winged pod.
