Hedyotis austrosinica (Rubiaceae), a new species from Southern China

Hedyotis austrosinica, a new species from Southern China is described and illustrated. This new species is similar to H. pulcherrima, but can be easily recognized by its herbaceous and weak to ascending habits, 4-angle to subterete stems, longer petioles, bigger stipules apically with 5–9 linear lobes, different indumentum (densely pubescent on stem, petiole, leaf blade, stipules, bracts, calyx and capsules).
