Lectotypification of names for Jacquemontia (Convolvulaceae) species

During the preparation of a revision of Brazilian species of Jacquemontia, we detected 17 names which are not clearly typified and thus lectotypifications and one neotypification are required. The choice of lectotypes and the neotype is explained and comments on the taxonomic circumscription of the species and the correct application of the names are provided.
