Revisiting the nomenclature of Psychotria filipes (Rubiaceae).

The replacement name for a later homonym, Psychotria filipes Hook.f., is found illegitimate because of being superfluous when published. A new combination is proposed here based on the earliest available name published by Otto Kuntze.
