Rheum neyshabourense (Polygonaceae), a new species from Iran

Rheum neyshabourense Baradaran & Jafari from NE Iran (Khorassan Razavi Province) is newly described. It is similar to R. ribes but differs in having the number of prominent veins of leaves, the pedicle jointed position, the shape of fruit, the epidermal cell shape and the type of stele in inflorescence axis.
