Two new taxa of Kuepferia pringlei D. Maity & S. K. Dey (Gentianaceae) from Sikkim Himalaya

Maity, D.; Dey, Sentu; Favre, AdrienTwo new varieties of Kuepferia pringlei D. Maity & S. K. Dey from North Sikkim (eastern Himalaya) are described, illustrated, and compared to closely related taxa of similar morphology. Further details on its habitat, phenology and conservation status are provided. These previously undescribed varieties are most similar to, but distinct from, typical K. pringlei D. Maity & S. K. Dey, known from the eastern Himalaya. Both new taxa are further compared to K. leucantha (Harry Sm. ex T.N. Ho & S.W. Liu) Adr.Favre.
