Ophiorrhiza macrocarpa (Rubiaceae), a new species from Yunnan, southwestern China

Ophiorrhiza wallichii was originally described in India and later reported as new record in China. However, the specimens and literature revealed that O. wallichii in China was misidentified, which actually represents an undescribed species. We described it as a new species, viz. O. macrocarpa. Detailed descriptions, distribution, ecology along with colour photographs are provided.
