NEW SUBJET EDITOR IN PLANT ECOLOGY

Nordic Journal of Bontany welcomes Prof. Wenhuai Li as a new Subject Editor in plant ecology to the editorial board. Below you can find a description of his background and research interests.
I obtained my Ph.D. in Ecology from the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2015. I am currently an associate professor at the School of Ecology and Environment, Inner Mongolia University, Hohhot, China.
My research interests primarily focus on the grassland biodiversity and ecosystem functioning under livestock grazing in Inner Mongolia, China. I also study how climate change, grassland management regime, and grazing intensity interactively affect plant functional traits, community composition, and ecosystem functioning from local to regional scale. Recently, I’m also interested in exploring the role of livestock behavior in regulating plant biodiversity and ecosystem functioning.
