NEW CO-ORDINATING EDITOR IN PLANT DIVERSITY

Submitted by editor on 22 August 2023.

Nordic Journal of Botany welcomes a new co-ordinating editor in plant diversity and plant-human interactions, Dr. Riin Tamme from the University of Tartu. She will take over the tasks of our previous CoEd, Aveliina Helm. Aveliina will remain with us for smaller editorial duties. Read below a description of Riin's research background:

I received my PhD degree in 2015 at the University of Tartu, Estonia. Following a two-year post-doctoral position at the University of New South Wales in Australia, I returned to University of Tartu where I’m currently working as a macroecology researcher (https://macroecology.ut.ee/en/our-people/riin-tamme/). My main research interests are plant taxonomic and functional diversity at different spatial scales. I have studied how environmental and biotic (competition, dispersal) factors determine plant community assembly, as well as explored global patterns of plant traits and functional diversity.
