NJB welcomes onboard a new Subject Editor in ecological modeling, Dr. Naghmeh Pakgohar! We are happy to add additional expertise in this area to our profile. You can read about her background here:

I am a postdoctoral researcher at Saskatchewan university in the plant Science department. I have experience as a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Ecology and Botany (Hungary) in a large-scale vegetation ecology research group from 2022-2023. I received my PhD degree in 2021 at Urmia University.
I am a plant community ecologist, interested in vegetation patterns and their relationships with environmental factors, quantitative methods for the description and explanation of species and community patterns. My research focuses on vegetation survey and classification, assembly rules of plant communities and effects of management on grassland communities. I use a phytosociological database, data simulation and large scale survey data of forest and grassland communities.
